This particular a/c was from the 573th BS./391st BG. - check here about a taxing accident on 21 Apr 1945. If you go through the group's site there might be more information as well. Unfortunately the accident report is not there - you'll need to check the according site to order it. Pilot at the time of accident was Kennet L. Baker (it's the 3rd report on 21.April 1945 in the list).
