Pretty cool photo's guys!

I just had one question. Did having another seat added to the plane throw off it's performance any? I noticed the P-39 in the first picture, and it's whole build has been changed a bit. I was thinking it would probably handle a little bit differantly than a single seat P-39.

Cool all the same.

Drgondog, can you tell me where you got those pics of the Fw 190A-8/U1? I'm converting two Revell Fw 190A-8s to an S-5 (two seat A-5 conversion), and A-8/U1 at the moment, but only have two period photos for reference (apart from pics of the Hendon example, unfortunately in spurious markings).
Anything else would be appreciated!

Thanks, Evan

My father's collection from WWII - he was 355th Group CO when those photos were taken at Gablingen GY. I don't think I have better shots of the same 190.

Thanks mate! They still provide some very interesting details, and are the clearest pics I've seen yet of an A-8/U1 (and even better, both sides are featured!) Many thanks for posting them!

You are most welcome. here are different angles for the 109 two seater
