There were tethered balloons over Kabul for years and I think Kandahar too. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some in Syria right now.I'm not as well versed as most in all aspects of aerospace and aerospace defense but who'd ever thought we would need to shoot down balloons in the twenty first century?
And another. Maybe a better way than $$$$$$ missiles per balloon is needed?
