Those were the USN's "B-57." The RB-69A was not a USAF idea but were to meet CIA intelligence gathering requirements. The USN said NO to supporting those specialized CIA aircraft and so the USAF agreed to do so - which was no doubt a much more challenging effort since the Air Force had no P2V logistics system.

I'm wondering when there'll be a decent quality 1/72 Mig 19 to come out. I love that plane yet it's been sorely neglected in this scale. I've done what I can with what's out there, but they usually end up in the trash. I did have fun with one Heller plane, bashing it into a pseudo space ship. Lol. But these things just don't do it. Anyone seen any out there that are upcoming?

The ones that start with H are old Revell. Those that start with M are old Monogram. L stands for Lindberg. and R for Renwal. They have some car kits as well.

I bought one of the Allison Turboprop engine kits. Hobby Lobby had them at 40% off and could not resist.
