I am wondering if anyone ever did an article on improving that Stuka kit. Where is it inaccurate and what needs to be done. The only one I found on-line described how the guy just built it, as is. As for the Me-262, I think it'll make a good basis for one of the What If versions, like the dedicated recon version with the cockpit in the nose, or the Mistel version.

For Zeros, I bought the 21st Century 1/32 versions of the A6M2 and A6M3 over 20 years agao, but have not built them yet.

No, I have yet to try any of those. Are they the best out there??

I haven't assembled any yet. Just not interesting in them. But these are new tool and seem to be better than the old KP Farmers. You may check on the sites .. however the second link is to a site in Polish but there are a nice close up shots of kit details.

Airfix is soon to release one of my favourites - a Bat-face RCAF "Vampire" in 1/48:

And what's in the box:

In case anyone's interested, although boxed as a Vampire F.3 in this initial release, the kit includes additional wingtips for the FB.5 and the longer air intake of the FB.9 (and some FB.5s)...so you can build any of those 3 variants from the basic kit.
