Airfix have just announced the release of a brand new tool Westland Lysander, in 1/48th scale. Due in January, UK price £39.99.

No this could be interesting. Now if they would do the Shorts Sterling and a Halifax in 1/48
 
Regarding these two....





....I'm sure that the Westland Lysander will sell like hotcakes (and I wouldn't be surprised if we'd see it in a Eduard boxing
in the future), with Sea King probably outselling their earlier variant! I still remember watching the Falkland War and I nearly
went to the former Yugoslavia myself back in the day, two good choices in that kit!

Totally agree old chap.
Some years back, Glenn sent me the old Italeri kit of the Lysander, which I've been wanting to do as a SD "Tangmere Taxi" for some time, and now with this Airfix kit on the horizon, it's given me an idea .....................

Very much so Squire, that Lysander puts a lot of ideas in my head, No. 161 Squadron(?), as well....
....and seeing the prices on certain Hasegawa Sea King's, hopefully Airfix will be whistling and singing to the bank!
