Guys, I think you all exaggerate a bit. Check the next photo - it looks like the canopy will hit the head of the pilot when closed.

There were bigger pilots and there were smaller ones.

The records for Germany are sparse for the period, but the 1891–95 cohort had an average height of 168.48 cm but these would have been middle aged men during WW2, possibly serving as fairly senior officers. The 1926–30 cohort, young soldiers towards the end of the war, had an average height of 172.99 cm.

This is a detail set, not the full old model as per Scalemates. But I've seen the company logo in this form (not Jo-Han!) before. Maybe after the old company has been sold?
