Box art doesn't look right to me. Looks cold. Batsman is bundled up. Why are the cowl flaps open?

Thank you ! - dr 1 aceIIRC , these aren't the Aussie markings. The FAA used them in 1944 when stared addopting the American practice of removing of the red colour in the national markings for the planes servicing in the FFA squadrons in the Pacific and the Far East Fleets.

Worked a couple tramps A's at Dover. The AN/APN 47 Doppler navigation radar antenna was right under the toilet. How quaint. I may have to hit that up.Atlantis reissues the old Aurora kit, planned release is 4 Jul 2025.
I will have to think about getting one of those. Never worked on them much but I rode around in those things a few times.

USAF Museum at Dayton OHUSAF has a C-141 that brought home many POWs from the Hanoi Hilton. Signatures of the freed aircrew are preserved on the junction box, lav, and elsewhere.
Yes. You knew what I meant.USAF Museum at Dayton OH
My AFROTC summer camp was at Charleston AFB. We went on a couple of Combat Airlift Missions where they flew low in formation over SC and then dropped a small bundle over North Field, a closed former AFB. Flying with the doors open in the back was kinda different.Worked a couple tramps A's at Dover.
