Was looking through a book catalog last week and saw this interesting new offering for $22. Then I looked on ebay and found an excellent used copy for $11, including shipping.

And relative to the P-38 drop tanks dust-up, it has a picture of a P-38G of the 82nd Ftr Grp destroyed in a German bombing attack, with the note that P-38 losses led to the USAAF stripping pilots and P-38's from the 78th Ftr Grp in England to make up for the losses.
