Actor Frank Sutton - Gomer Pyle

I was just browsing through completely random stuff on Wikipedia and I did a search on the TV show Gomer Pyle, USMC. Frank Sutton played Sgt. Carter, Gomer's D.I.

Turns out Frank served in the US Army in the south pacific in WWII and took part in 14 assault landings!

Pretty impressive! Sadly, Frank died in 1974 of a heart attack at the young age of 50.
