    Claims she was never in the Marines. Why? Cause she got the clap!:lol:

    Oh yeah, that would show up at the Kennedy Center Tribute.

    Ah well, not the first Marine who needed a shot of Penicillin.

    Now, why would she deny military service? Not popular with liberal Hollywood back in the day?

    I suspect it was more to do with her medical history. That would have terminated her Hollywood career in an instant. And if her military record became public, so would that unfortunate episode...

    That makes sense, BT. Haven't met any Marines who 1) admit to having served and 2) aren't immensely proud of the fact.
