Yes. AI doesn't just create fake stuff, but a whole host of things:
- Environmental issues
- Taking away from the arts
- Ruining chances at entry-level jobs like you said
- Harming the development of critical thinking skills in K-12
- Etc.
Also, I feel bad for the people who get falsely accused of using AI when they aren't. As you can see, I like listing things, and I've seen plenty of people that love EM dashes too which AI also loves. This is what the companies want though; they want it to get harder and harder to tell so they can push for AI more.
