To all members of AAA,
It is with regret that we must announce that at mid point on June the 6th, it is quite likely that All Aircraft Arcade will be suspended for around a week, and after that face termination.
This realisation is one that has come as a shock to the administration and moderation team of the site as well; if we had known sooner, we would have told you all earlier.
We must ask that none of you make any donations, this extremely decent and generous gesture will not save the site
We have attempted to establish contact repeatedly, but on the few times we got through on the phone, it was put down quickly. We have until 5th June to pay the cost of the site. As things stand, only the site's owner can pay. Before, several admins could, but permissions appear to have been altered so that only he could pay. I have to tell you now it looks unlikely the bills will be met. The site will be suspended on the 5th of June and, unless the payment is met, it will be terminated a week or so later. Even if we donated 5 times the amount needed, we do not have the ability to make the necessary payments.
We might be lucky, and see the payments made, in which case the site will continue and provisions will be made to prevent this from happening again. But we have to tell you now this seems quite unlikely.
The future of CK too, will be up in the air, but even if AAA does go down, CK will not.
We the administration would like to express our most sincere thanks to the moderators and admins, past and present, who helped run and maintain this site, for all the time, hard work and dedication they put in. Similarly to the modders whose skill helped make IL2 what it is today; and finally, we would also like to thank the members of the site, both past and present, who gave the site its charm and atmosphere.
It has been both an honour and privillige to have helped run this site.
