Prince Phillip would call that the slitty eye.Interesting... the Chally still has a British license plate and the Chinese Eye on the turret
I can answer question 3. Iran's government has been selling missiles and other weapons to the Russians. I doubt if there is much left in the way of sanctions that could be applied against Iran. I think there is a continuing effort to strengthen/ renew/ restart/ reanimate/...nuclear power negotiations with Iran so I don't think the West will want to come down too heavily on Iran.According to some "pro russian" comments on Iranian social medias, each shahed drone costs about 10k USD...
Questions are:
1- Approximately how many of these drones are downed? And how much it costed Russians?
2- How much Ukraine had paid for downing them? (Price of missiles used to shoot them down)
3- do you think that Iran's government would sell rockets / missiles to Russians? What would be the outcome?
Is that accurate. In addition to the Gepards, the Ukrainians/allies have invested a lot into autocannons and cheaper means of downing the slow Shaheds.most of the Shahed drones are downed with million dollar missiles.
Me too, that's what they were designed for. Ammo is likely scarce unfortunately.I hope the Gephards are at the front, protecting the armor from attack heloes.
Its a guess but I suspect they have changed their tactics. How many times have we seen video's of Helicopters attacking as if they were IL2 or P47 in WW2, diving into the teeth of the enemy and paying the price.Me too, that's what they were designed for. Ammo is likely scarce unfortunately.
Given how the AFU with MANPADS cleared the sky of helos in 2022 I am surprised at how supposedly effective Russia's attack helos are now.
