If the An-2 was "fired upon" and apparently not hit, how does that compare with the Russian news of the high drone shoot downs. Seems to me if they can't the low and slow An-2, how many real drones get through?
Russia has been remarkably effective at destroying all of Ukraine's drones.

They've been using munition depots, ships, AFVs, oil facilities, radar systems, Chinese dune-buggies and much more to terminate those pesky drones.

Sorry to interrupt the barrage of propaganda videos here. How about a dose of reality this time.

If anyone else is willing to die for BlackRock and the international banking system, Zelensky is still taking volunteers and has a ready supply of weapons that were only dropped once.

And for another dose of reality.

If rational people were making the decisions Senator Lindsey's comments would be important and the USA would fully support Ukraine.

One of the team tasked with solving the war is Tulsi Gabbard. Go back and listen to her first press release after being appointed - almost word for word Putins peace plan which can best be summarised as destroy NATO and make Ukraine a Putin dependency.

The reality is, Russia (actually Putin) wants to restore it's former territory.

The West was tested by way of Georgia, Moldova and later, Crimea and eastern Ukraine. Each time the West failed to react, Putin grew bolder.
It's also no secret that Russia has eyes on other eastern European nations and is active in trying to undermine the political fabric of those nations in order to create puppet states much like Belarus.

As far as Ukraine's rare earth minerals are converned, yes they have an abundance, but their agricultural capacity is immense as well as their export of iron ore and processed steel.

Historically, Russia (including Soviet Russia) has always been "paranoid" of their neighbors.
An excellent example would be their border clash with Finland in the 1930's, where Moscow felt that Finland was "too close" to Leningrad (St. Petersburg) and sought to expand that frontier.

So then, if the "Big Money" is after Ukraine's minerals, then why did Russia invade Georgia? Why did Russia invade Moldova?
What was the secret New world Order cabal after in those nations?
Why does Russia have puppets in Belarus, Hungary and Slovakia?
Why does Russia have plans to retake Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia?

Do those nations listed above have Rare Earth minerals too?

Or could it be that the deep state conspiracy bullshit is just another excuse blanket covering up Putin's aspirations to restore the Russian Empire?

Remember, it's Russia's former territory, not just the USSR's. NATO is a threat to other countries once within Russia's hegemony: Finland, Poland, the Baltic Republics, Belarus (which is de facto in the hegemony now), and many other countries, many of which are under the NATO umbrella. The people opposing support for Ukraine have roughly the same moral compass as those who sold Czechoslovakia down the river shortly before WW2.

Where do you think a lot of those resources are? In the areas Russia has occupied - see my previous post on this:

Those pushing or even considering that Ukraine should do some sort of deal that cedes occupied land need to appreciate that this isn't just about principal or even national pride. There are hard economic and national survival reasons why Russia invaded where they did and why Ukraine needs the occupied lands back. Look at the following resource maps (these are just a few):

I could go on….

Now overlay where the front lines/occupied lands sit as of today:

For Ukraine to willingly concede those territories (and for Russia to be rewarded with them for their illegal aggression) is tantamount to economic suicide. I am sure no forced peace will include compensating Ukraine for its future losses. Let alone the entire injustice of rewarding the criminals who have conducted, and continue to conduct, crimes against humanity be those murders, rapes, castrations, forced separation of children from their families, and so on. All because someone wants to have a "Peace in out time" moment for the cameras and create/perpetuate a false narrative for their own supporters. Fuck off!!!

See here for more specific on the Rare Earth materials mentioned:

So if anything, if this was the motivation to do anything, one should offer Ukraine even more support so as to allow them to take back all of their country rather than cut a deal with the Russian criminals that will leave the Russians in control of much of it. Seems like doing a plea deal with a robber and letting him to keep the loot otherwise.

Mind you. to talk about getting resources like this as the motivation is somewhat sickening. That is a bit like plundering a neighbour's house after they have had a fire. And talk about "getting money back" - most of the American funding/support has actually been spent in the USA which means US jobs and the like!

If talking about former territory, let's look at the bigger picture...yet again:
