Oil spill can happen. St Pete is close to Finland and we care about the environment of Suomi. I have another idea. In the Far East, the nearest country to Russian oil terminals is DPRK. Hey, Pyongyang, ask me if I care.

I do truly hope that I am wrong but I cannot see Trump letting Ukraine have the tomahawk missiles and even less chance of giving them the authority to use them for deep strikes. Trump likes the attention, likes leading the news cycle but is loath to carry any action no matter how relatively trivial it may be that hurts Russia.
How many times have we seen Putin seem to offer a way forward and then slam the door shut, with no punishment. However these instances allow Trump to dominate the news cycle, which is all he wants to do.

In all the articles no one has specifically said that Trump has said to giving Ukraine the missile, or yes to them being allowed to launch deep strike missions using US equipment. Its all 'I think so' or Believe in what he says, or 'its what I read'.

As I said I do hope that I am wrong.
