A bit late with the intel seeing the Ukrainians are already well on their way to destroying Russia's oil production with the side benefit of fairly quickly bringing their transport and aircraft to a halt.

Targeting information on factories making computer hardware for drones would be more useful. Oil refineries are not hard to find but those factories are.

Targeting drone infrastructure/supply chains is certainly a vital task, but to be fair, targeting refineries not only brings the war home to Russian civilians far from the front, it is also a direct attack on Russia's ability to finance this war.

Destroying oil refineries is a win win win win for Ukraine
Less fuel for the railways
Less fuel for drones
Less fuel for the army
Less fuel for the air force (and what little is left of the navy)
Less fuel for farmers and other producers of necessities
Less oil byproducts for a million other products including explosives and pesticides
Less electricity production and less fuel for standby generators at factories
Less income from exports
Less ...

I love it.

Starting just before xmas I expect the Ukrainians to start targeting natural gas supplies which will make Moscow a very cold place to be this winter.

That gives me a lovely warm feeling.

Too soon. I hope the ship is kept as material evidence until after his trial.

It is presently immobilized off the coasts Saint-Nazaire. There are doubts about its pavillion. The captain was not indicted for this matter as it was concluded he was not directly responsible for this fact, which is a reponsibility that should be conferred to the ship owner.

Article 110 of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea of Montego Bay : "'a warship that crosses the high seas with a foreign vessel [...] may not intercept it unless it has serious reasons for suspecting that the vessel is engaged in piracy,"'slave-transporting', 'unauthorised emissions' or ''without nationality'."

It is subject to sanctions by the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland and New Zealand for his membership in the Russian phantom fleet.

Does launching drones count as unauthorized transmissions? If it's "no", we need better lawyers.
