What I hate about Oracle Eyes is that the headline bears no resemblance to the content. For example re the above - what red line did Russia cross? Certainly none in the last week.
interesting side effects of Ukrainian attacks on Russian cyber network centers, shows how "patriotic" our useful Nazi idiots are

Zelenskyy urges U.S. to pressure Moscow to respect 'energy ceasefire' as attacks continue | CBC News
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says "energy ceasefire" announced by U.S. President Donald Trump can be "a major step toward ending the war if the Americans truly step in now." The Kremlin says contacts are ongoing about the possible "energy ceasefire."
US trucks run 14 hours with that diesel in question.

According to the local market Brent crude, the benchmark, went up today for the third day running. It has dropped a little in the last hour.

ANALYSIS | Zelenskyy says Ukraine had 'no warning' from its partners about Russian ballistic missile attack | CBC News
With Trump's declaration of an 'energy ceasefire' between Russia and Ukraine, the U.S. president appears to be increasing pressure on Kyiv to halt its attacks on Russian refineries while simultaneously pursuing fuel deals with Moscow.

Exporting middle distillates would be a huge cash cow for Russia right now.
Jet fuel and diesel have roughly similar distillate margins (the 'crack spread'
). In the three months before the Iran war, this was running at an average of $24 per barrel (for jet fuel). In the last three months, it has averaged $67 per barrel.
So, if Russia is exporting refined diesel, then the exporting firm is (theoretically) earning nearly 3x per barrel what they would have in February. Even with the higher cost of crude as an input, the increased crack spread is more than enough to compensate. It's gone from averaging 26.5% of the price of a jet fuel barrel to 39.5% of the price.
Russian oil product exports were in a BAD way in August (down about 50% year-on-year
). Technically, Russia put a self-imposed ban on refined oil products exports in May - with India, China, Egypt and Turkey taking regular (if surreptitious) deliveries. But that isn't what has halted exports. It's Ukraine's strikes on refineries, storage areas and export terminals that have really done the damage.
