Am curious about the BMW VI

I would like to know if it is possible to build a BMW VI from a pair of BMW IVs. I know that the VI uses the cylinder banks of the IV. Is there an illustrated manual which would show the block of the VI?

Shouldn't be too hard...a few million dollars, some original blueprints and a good machine shop would do the trick.

That would be a fun and frustrating endeavor. Almost as much fun as trying to build a replica Do-26.

No, I'm wondering if I could do that with a couple resin engines. I read that that's what Benz did, so I'm wondering if I could pull the same thing off. I'll have to fashion the v twelve block, so I'd like to find some pictures of the block or diagrams of it.
