So you've never heard of Jazz Fusion? The OP way back in 2013 asked "Jazz lovers, what's your favorite 50's/60's and current jazz"? AFAIK, "current jazz" can also include jazz fusion.

I love me some Les. My jazz instructor started my first lesson with "How High the Moon", and I was hooked. I learnt how to play through a ii-V-I on that, and do closed-box as well.
