Thought you guys might enjoy this.....

After almost 30 years, it seems I have a band again and we're starting to practice and have some fun. This is the starting set list that we are working on with more songs to add:

"Vasoline" - Stone Temple Pilots
"Living Dead Girl" - Rob Zombie
"Figured You Out" - Nickleback
"The Rover" - Led Zeppelin
"Kashmir" - Led Zeppelin
"mObscene" - Marilyn Manson
"Pigs" - Pink Floyd
"Life is a Highway" - Tom Cochrane
"Jeremy" - Pearl Jam
"Lit Up" - Buckcherry
"You Got Another Thing Comin'" - Judas Priest

Don't know where this is gonna go as we're all over 50 but we wanna have some fun. Maybe some clubs and backyard parties - whatever.

Some names we're been throwing around.....

F.O.G. = F*cking Old Guys
F.O.A.M. = F*cking Old and Angry Men

We decided we're gonna hit the stage with walkers and Rascals wearing t-shirts that say things like "AARP", "Viagra", etc. I was getting my vocals in shape last night and we should be able to pull this off.

I gotta be nuts!

Right On (as the old folks say-lol)....you been out of the game for 30 years (?), wow! I have not been playing (with a band) for almost 10 years now...I spent a good amount of my young adult years playing in a semi-working band. We put a few CDs out and did some touring. Sometimes it feels like "something" is missing from my life...you must be having fun. It must be nice "just having fun"...the biz can be so serious sometimes.
I'm just curious....what do you play? Did you already say (did I have a senior moment-lol) ?

P.s. I like the name ideas.... :eating: :coffee:
 
I sang vocals and incidental percussion (tambourine, cow bell, sometimes casio keyboards). We actually opened and played with Cinderella and I was in the studio for Bon Jovi's 2d album and played with the band on off-nights at a local club. Heady times.

Heres a pic from 1984 - the drummer is one of the guys who signed up for this.
