Not an album, but an episode of Ralph Gleason's Jazz Casual from 1963. This one features Vince Guraldi with Bola Sete.
Accompanying are Fred Marshall on bass and Jerry Granelli on drums.

I remember first finding this video about 15 years agp. I was already a Sete fan having heard his work on Guaraldi's Greatest Hits. Watching Bola do it live with his energy and groove blew me away. I wished then and do now that I could play like that, but you can hear the years and the woodshedding he's done. Good lord, that's music.

What brought me back to this thread is that tonight I was checking out my guitarin' vids and a recommendation for this vid below came up, regarding Mike Stern's guitar playing on it. But Marcus Miller on bass steals the show.

And of course, Miles gonna do what Miles do.

My parents had this album on a 7" reel when I was a kid. I thought the cover was cool so I ended up listening to it a lot.

Enoch Light?? What does a Primary Artist do? My parents had an Enoch Light Orchestra album.

Speculation on my part, but if you click on his name you'll see he was a violinist, but he was also a band leader, so he may have been wearing several hats for this recording, thus "primary artist".
