Is it just the pic, Wayne, or did the modeler not buff his black out enough. I ask from a knothole of not being worthy to clean this guys paintbrushes I might add. I just thought that the car modelers used a metallic paint that allowed them to be buffed to a perfect shine and his black looks a little mottled.

Iv'e had a look at the original larger images and something in the finish doesn't look quite right Matt, you may well be correct in your assessment or maybe even a final gloss overcoat has not been applied right?

Note the drive sprocket is missing and the track has been reattached. For recovery purposes? Lots of detail in that scenario. Love it.
