Avenger information

After advice on good books or other sources covering specification of Avengers used in WW2 in the Atlantic on CVEs. Main interest is the permutations and combinations of depth charges, sono-buoys, MAD, Radar and rockets all for ASW. Thanks.

After advice on good books or other sources covering specification of Avengers used in WW2 in the Atlantic on CVEs.

Too bad Uncle Ned isn't here. He flew "Turkeys" off "the jeeps" doing convoy escort and H/K Group work for nearly two years. Four different ships and detachments from two different squadrons. If you could get him to talk, he could tell you a lot. Only happened twice in all the years I knew him. Unfortunately, he "flew west" fourteen years ago. Good luck!
