Are there any Buchons in Spanish Air Force livery?

Not flying as warbirds, no. In fact there are more surviving Buchons depicted as Bf 109s than there are as Ejercito Buchons. The Spanish Air Force Museum at Quatro Vientos, Madrid has Hispano Aviacion Bf 109s in their Ejercito markings and I think a museum in Canada has one as well, to its credit.

This is an HA-1109 K1L, which is powered by a Hispano V-12 engine that was put in the Bf 109G-2s before the Merlin, on display at Quatro Vientos (I have a photo of the Buchon in the background somewhere but I can't find it). Because it's fitted with a Hisso engine it's not a Buchon, which was named after a type of Tapas found in bars the length and breadth of Spain :D.

Fascinating video. I knew of this guy building a 109 for Kermit Weeks and it's great to see a relatively recent update. I didn't know that he was making a second one.
