There was a copy of the 109 by Czechoslovakia called the Avia S.199 'Mule'

The heavy engine mad the nose heavy and it was a bad way to be on Landing. It was sometimes reffered to as the Bad tempered Beast.

It also used a bomber engine which porduced a lot of torque. People say that Avia had more successful with there 262 copy
