Bf 109g-6/R3/R6 Wnr.160303 (Eduard kit n.82111): a couple of questions.

hi all,
I'm starting to build the mount of F.Eberle ( white 20, with white rudder, red/white spinner and 20mm gondolas).
I could not find any picture, just a couple of asisbiz images of machines of the same unit all sporting a tall antenna mast. The color plates on the net differ, as usual, one from the other. Eduard shows a tall antenna mast with no loop antenna, while asisbiz and others, the shorter mast with the antenna loop. Moreover, to add confusion to my confusion, a very complete compendium by J.C. Mermet (forgive me If I'm wrong about the author, but i'm not an expert) shows two side drawings of the specific batch wrn. from 160000 to 167999 with the short mast and loop antenna.
The only certain fact is that ,according to the wrn., this machine comes from Regensburg.
So my questions:
1- according to your knowledge, which of the two versions is more plausible? Tall without loop or short with loop?
2- in the eduard's instruction booklet, the round panel for the mg compressed air and the panel for the GM-1 must be erased and that seems ok to me. but on the aforementioned compendium the sketch shows the GM-1 panel and no handgrip that, is stated, was deleted with the round mg panel.
again: GM-1 panel yes or not and handgrip yes or not?

According to the book by Jochen Prien and Peter Rodeike, the Mtt Reg. built in autumn 1943 batch 160xxx should have the DF loop, the short antenna mast and the Gallandpanzer. The Erla-Haube was introduced at the end of 1943. Mostly it was installed in a factory to the brand-new kites. However there were early aircraft with retro-fitted hood. When the Erla-Haube was installed the antenna mast could be omitted and the antenna wire was attached to the frame of the hood directly. IMHO the short antanna mast should be there, no matter what hood type.
Regarding the GM-1 and MW-50 instalation ... in a sketch of the factory standard G-6 from Autumn 1943 the filler caps aren't shown. Just the main fuel filler one ( at the top port side just behind the DF loop antenna) and the start fuel one seen on the starboard at rear.
Regarding the round panel for the mg compressed air .. IIRC it should be because it was there for entire G-6 series.

All I can say is that Eduard usually do a very good job in researching their subjects. Looking at some back issues of InfoEduard might reveal some answers.

regarding eduard, sometimes their color plates are not 100% correct, so it's better to collect all the clues available.
