He was also a bit outspoken about his dislike with the regime's policies.

I seem to remember a while back Artesh mentioned that it would only be another couple of years then he could leave the country. I got the impression that he may have been living under some form of imposed restriction.

Nope, tried to send him a message, but no luck.

Iran started clamping down on their internet access in 2022 during the protests and tightened it even more starting in October 2023.

So I am guessing that by November of that year, he was no longer able to find a workaround.

I think he said he was having surgery and would be away for a while; in one of his GBs I think

I seem to remember this but his last post was well over six weeks ago and I was just wondering if he was ok. Maybe some of his closer US neighbors would know or find out.
