Greets,

I have painted the canopy of my 1/32 Hellcat. As I looked at the line where the front and sliding rear canopy meet I wondered if there were gaskets on the mating edges. If so, I'll see how Rubber Black looks.

Has anyone been up close and personal with a Hellcat F6F 5? 3 is ok. You know how we builders are...

Can't see a gasket or seal, but if there is one, it could be under the frame.

You're welcome, and yes, this was the actual aircraft flown by Vracu (not a paint job), which was at Duxford for many years, and is now in the USA.
 
Daaaamn! That is very, very cool!

Can't help but notice the channel for the cable for the rear canopy. *sigh* Next build.
