8x8 too much. Maybe 6x6, but for "everyday" use, with less complexity, and therefore more general reliability, especially in civilian use, go for the 4x4.
With a good interior layout, to suit personal requirements it would be the bogs' dollocks !!

I'd love one !!
 
As a retirement present ( my last day will be 30JAN2026 ) I purchased a car I have wanted for 45+ years a Fiat 130 Coupe. Never sold new in the United States, the sale is not final yet as I haven't sent the payment yet, so I hope I haven't jinxed myself but I should be receiving this in about 60 days after shipping from Europe and custom's. What do you think?

Thanks all, in case anyone wonders why a guy from midwest America would want an obscure Italian Luxury coupe from the 1970's? Its a bit of an odd long story. My 1st job after getting out of the USN in 1981 was at our local Fiat, Lancia, Ferrari dealership. When I got out of the Navy there were not many jobs to be had, and my Uncle who was good friends with the dealerships owner basically got me the job as the shop flunky. So along with the more usual jobs of rotating the stock on the lots, cleaning the new and used cars and the repair bays. Helping out the mechanic's. I was also tasked with driving the owners cars from in front of the dealerships doors when he arrived, around back, and back up front when he was ready to leave. He had an large collection of vintage ( 1940-mid 70's ) Italian cars, and I had the privilege of driving most of them, even if only in the parking lot. He seemed to like me and we spoke often about his cars. I once asked him what car he wanted to buy next, and he instantly said a 130 coupe. But due to emissions they could not be imported and licensed at the time.
I always remembered that, and the I still should have the brochure he gave me somewhere. I fell in love with the option of the bright orange velour interior. That could be had with any of the exterior colors. Then fast forward about 15 years, I was engaged to (but never married) a German national, and when I went to visit her when she was home visiting her parents, she picked me up at the airport in Frankfurt in her fathers car, a silver Fiat 130 coupe with a Blue Velour interior. Also a 5-speed manual trans car. I was never allowed to drive it, but the more I rode in it the more I wanted one but with the orange interior. So when this example was offered to me this week I could not refuse.

My wife may someday forgive me.
