Latest update as of today the car is on board the RORO ship in Zeebrugge Belgium, the shipping has been paid, and I have won round 1 with customs as they wanted to charge me an additional 12.5% tariff on top of the 2.5% normal import tariff. The broker told me it is 50/50 that customs will still charge me the 12.5% even after the Supreme Court said the reciprocal tariff's were unconstitutional. We will see what happens. But I figured if I paid it upfront, I would never get the $$$$ back.
So the car should be at my door in about a week, the luggage has still not shipped. I would have never guessed that the car would beat the luggage to my door?

Update, I got very Lucky by the timing of the ship's arrival, docked in Baltimore MD a few hours after the supreme court ruled Trump's Tariffs unlawful, and the car officially arrived at customs before the new 10-15% tariff went into effect, so I just had to pay the normal 2.5%. That saved me almost $5k USD's! The car is on the trailer that will deliver it to my house. And the luggage is finally on its way from France. A few pictures of the car before it was loaded onto the trailer. It looks to have survived in good shape so far. Fingers crossed for the remaining few hours.

Here is a view of cars at the auto auction I part time at. They range from bonkers to "If I won the lottery". Keep in mind that this is a dealer only auction. You can expect the lowest possible price with the advantage of low effort sale. I will comment from upper left to lower right. It is also the order that I like them.
I have no words the first two; a Jeep Gladiator and Ford Bronco. The Corvette will need a fair amount of work to look and run nice but not bad. The BMW and Mercedes are a toss-up. The BMW had the smaller V8 and auto transmission; Merc is a convertible. We had a similar BMW with a V12 and manual; but it was in rough state. The Mustang is something that I could see having. I had an early 65 Mustang convertible in this scheme. I bought it in 1973 for $150 and it had a new top. A real Flintstonemobile. (no floors)

I'm a fan of the Mustang myself. I had an '89 5 liter (4.922 actually but a 302 is a 302!) coupe. Lighter than the fastback with a 5 speed. A factory order, (stripped, no power nuthin'). It was my company car. Didn't have it long. Never go into business with relatives.

I currently have a '66 Mustang and have owned a '74 Mustang II and a 1980 Mustang. I also had a 1988 Mustang 5.0 convertible company car back in the late 1980's.
To be 100% honest, I was never impressed with them. My '66 Mustang sits out in the driveway, my 1962 Chevy Nova 400 sits in my garage - as it should be.

The Alfa 105/115s are indeed objects of beauty, but for me it would always be a step-front Giulia (and NEVER a GTAM)!!!
