"Four persons arrested in Los Angeles are part of a Chinese intelligence-gathering ring, federal investigators said, and the suspects caused serious compromises for 15 years to major U.S. weapons systems, including submarines and warships.
U.S. intelligence and security officials said the case remains under investigation but that it could prove to be among the most damaging spy cases since the 1985 one of John A. Walker Jr., who passed Navy communication codes to Moscow for 22 years."

The US nationals should be executed.

The Chinese nationals held for the once in awhile prisoner exchange.

I think the Chinese are in cahoots with a lot of unrest in the world. Time to be forcefull and vocal about it.

Red China has been a enemy to all for years....it is interesting that there is a worldwide concrete shortage because of Red China and a full 1/3 of avaiable oil is being bought by the Red Chinese that have borrowed vast sums of money from different banks around the world...the communists NEVER pay back debts and use this money to finance the "revoluation"....

Sounds to me like they are preparing for war....who says all that concrete is going to the 3 Gorges Dam?

there's allot of guys here saying that they wish for these guys to die, simply because they are doing their jobs, most countries use spies, would you want all the american spies killed?

i'm not denying that not am i trying to justify what they're doing, and i don't want to enter into an argument about something like this, it's just there's people saying they want these spies/trators whatever you want to label them to be killed, surely then that should apply to your own nations spies too, yet i doubt any of you would want to kill your own spies?

I hear you Lanc, but it's looked upon differently when you're a "home grown" and then spy for someone else, that has always been seen as an ultimate betrayal. Foreign Nationals are another issue, some countries kill them as well, maybe as a lesson for others, personally I would use them as "trade" as Eric stated.

Thye two Chinese Americans were immigrants that were naturalized. Thats why they should be executed and dealt with without mercy.

Thye swore an alligence to our country and betrayed us.

I agree with you 100%!

I'll worry more about China when they start building aircraft carriers and other weapons where they can project their military might outside of the Asian Continent. Although they are developing some advanced weapons systems and have great numbers of combat aircraft, they still maintain many obsolete fighters and bombers.

Until China aggressively exploits their military might, I believe the threat is minimal. Personally I believe the current Chinese leadership believes it's not in their best interests to have a 1950s "Cold War" with the west....

Im with Flyboy here, China is doing extremely well out of capitalising its economy and westernising certain facets of it's administration, they'd be crazy to start a fight now. They won't throw away the fastest growing economy in the word today (and possibly ever) for the sake of Communist ideologies which are dying anyway.
