In an argument for best bush plane ever, the Beaver would get a fair number of votes I suspect. Always nice to see, especially when they are still powered by pistons in a circle.

Did not realize till now but today is the 70th anniversary of the first flight of the DHC-2 Beaver....did not know that when I posted today's picture.

I got a ride in one a few years back, that crazy tour operator in Greenville Maine has one. I love the crank system for the flaps reminded me of the wizard of Oz man behind the curtain as we were landing!
