I had a blue Torino just like that when I was younger but I had a fully functional shaker.I worked in a machine shop at the time she had a 429" w/11-1 Cobra jet pistons, camshaft larger than the CJ,balanced with Offi manifold with a Holley tricked out.Out back was a close ratio 4-sp Toploader, blow proof bellhousing,Hayes plate followed by 456 gears later went to a 370 in a 9" posi. The pics of the side of the road I am tring to show how festive it is people set up camp and watch some 3500-5000 hotrods cruise by.All the while having a couple of beers and cooking out you can see this all up and down Hwy 90.The pic of the gas station I could not pass up.The Cobra was being followed by a Camaro and I heard the Cobra snatch a gear about 50mph barking his tires all I could do was laugh.

I love the Cruise In so many cars and it really helps out the economy alot .The Crusiers while there is alot of them are some of the most respectable groups that come to the coast. We had a couple of Spring Breaks show up and Gawd it was terrible with acts you would not believe in public in front of families:rolleyes:.

Looks like you could spend the entire week looking and still not see every thing.

You are absolutly right Arron hell I saw a nice Mopar Charger I think?68/69? with a full blower coming through the hood of course Orange/Black vinyl top go by sounded awesome.I sat at the light with the Cobra and ther was 9 hotrods and maybe 5 regular cars and it's all thumping cams :).The drag races start tomorrow night out at Gulfport Dragway I might go with the son since wife is heading to SanDestin for the W/E.I just hope the weather holds out.

I wish I had the camera tonight the town of Biloxi is on Fire!It took me 30 mins to cover 3/4 of mile and I did not mind it at all, friggin unbelievable. So many Hotrods of all types from Superbees to handbuilts to ratrods .I have not seen this turnout since before Katrina.
