Flew 25 missions in B-17's, and also 25 missions in Mosquito's with the 25th BG including air-to-air combat with two attacking Me262 aircraft on 13 January 1945. Postwar, he commanded an Operation Ranchhand C-123 Provider squadron in South Vietnam spreading the herbicide, Agent Orange. He died in 1997 from a cancer associated with AO.

Awards: DFC, BSM, AM (15OLC), Good Conduct, WWII Victory, EAME (6 battle stars), National Defense, AF Commendation, Korean and UN medal, Pres Unit Citation, AF Outstanding Unit award. Richard McChesney Kenny | American Air Museum

That has to be one of my all-time favourite colour schemes on a Mossie. PRU Blue overall with Type B roundels, D-Day stripes on the fuselage and diagonal red and white stripes on the fin and rudder. Just AWESOME! Many thanks for sharing!!!
