The Blackburn Shark was 1st introduced into service with the British fleet in 1935 with no 810,820,821 Squadrons,820 Squadron was on HMS Courageous.Replaced as a first-line aircraft in 1938 by the Swordfish they continued to be used as a fleet air arm trainer and communication aircraft up to the beginning of the war.I 1st built one of these just over 40 years ago and love its very basic shape and design, the plan is to build a float version of this aircraft as they were used as spotter/ recon dutys, this is my second entry in this GB and i hope there are no disasters as there was with the Black Widows rear transparency

progress so far with a total of 22 parts glued together, this kit gets a lot harder as it progress's ,the next job is to drop some detail into the cockpit although it is completely covered by the upper wing so will be hard to see in

2 days progress to show with approx 18 hrs spent over the 2 days, the interior now has some detail added in the front cockpit,i'm having trouble finding pics of the rear to detail from, the floats are now fitted and left to dry over the next couple of days before i do anymore, one of the pics shows just how many struts there are of this one, should keep me busy for a while trying to get them set in the correct order and position,

thanks for looking
