my problem with everything is slowing down,once i start something i have to finish it spending hours and hours until done instead of gently doing the odd piece a night,i guess its from working to deadlines and a habit i need to stop with my efforts here

I can understand that.
I know from myself how easy it is to lose motivation, especially when trying an extremely tedious or boring task, and other commitments are vying for your time.
Sure requires a hell of alot of determination and self discipline to just keep going a step at a time.

Like your progress here anway, should be a sweet looking bird when done!

progress so far,the top wing now fitted properly,this proved very hard to do as there were so many parts to add to get this right but i'm pleased with it now,rigging next job for this one,
