Anyway the RLM 02 has began, and a Bf 110C should come out and not a F-105D.

I so hate these multipart PE seatbelts that I decided to put it off till later and work somewhere else. I went to the wings and there are two parts to be installed in the inside of the wing for gear. one is a small part with two bumps, (part J6). I went to install the first and off it should go like a flea. This is when I recalled, I have two Eduard Bf 110, the other an E Weekend edition. Sometimes it's good to have too many!.

So I stole the part and carried on carrying on. Woo Hoo.

Easy to make too. I modified that area based on the below photo and used sprue or rod with the ends rounded off.

Note the colour. I'm guessing these are fuel filters.

OK, so help me out here. Externally, the C, D, and E are basically the same, save for the "boat tail of the D and some E's, am I correct or am I wrong. There were advances in the design that were internal to the aircraft but most are not noticeable on the kit. Weapons and armor but the placement and look is really unchanged. The reason I'm going here is because I believe the Cyber Hobby/Dragon kit to be a far superior kit from an engineering point of view. If I were to take the D or the E and use the short tail with the decals from the Eduard for my subject I should have what I am looking for. Just throwing this out as food for thought. This kit is irritating me with all the G*$ D@3$m tiny S*&^!

Assuming that the CyberHobby kit is accurate, to go from an E to a C, you would need to:

Use a slightly smaller tail wheel (the C tire should scale to 350 x 165mm)
If there is a scissor link on the tail wheel strut on your CH model, it would need to be removed
Use a smaller main wheel (the E variant had beefed up landing gear, different from the D - not sure what CH would give you here but the C tire would scale to 875 x 320mm). The hubs were also different as the E had larger brakes.
Rectangular inlet scoop on the top of the nose, if present, would need to be removed.
Rear firing gun on the C had a hollowed out fairing on the fuselage for stowage. The E did not. IIRC, the Eduard kit gives you both styles.
Pitot tube on the C was an L-shaped affair mounted under the wing. On the E, it was a spear type on the leading edge.
Rudder trim tabs on some E's extended beyond the trailing edge of the rudder. Didn't on the C.
The supercharger intake on late C's and all D and E's was slightly longer and had the lower edge extended toward the front. Your Eduard C sports the early C version that is just a short, straight scoop.

There are a few other minor things but I think that's the main stuff.

That's what I'm looking for. I was looking to possibly us a D-1 with the short tail of the E, I knew about the air intake on the E but the rest is what I was looking for.

"Rudder trim tabs on some E's extended beyond the leading edge of the rudder. Didn't on the C."

I meant trailing edge and have fixed my post.

Well it was a thought. This is a lot more tedious kit then the CH kit but I've already go this far.

On a side note I found these containers a Wal-Mart. They come three to a group for just under four dollars. They also have one twice as deep, two for the same price.

Don you can maybe save yourself some agitation and forget about the stuff under the cockpit floor. I think you might be able to see part if the cannons through a small openingbut otherwise everything is hidden.
