I was going to build this kit for Group Build 14 back in May of 2012 but then life got in the way and the only thing I had worked on was the pilots seat.
The decals are for the F-16's of the South Dakota Air National Guard 175th Fighter Squadron "Lobos" with the wolf on the tail

I've started some work on it the last couple of evenings and just about finished up the cockpit.

First photo is the seat which was all I compleated from the start I made on this kit back in Group Build 14

The new work done the last couple of days was dressing up the control panel, cockpit tub and seat with the Eduard etch set.
The set was made for the Tamiya kit so nothing fit right but I made the best fit I could which is still a huge improvement over what came with the Academy kit which was only decals

Thanks guys
Tonight after work I installed the cockpit and glued up the fuselage. Not as easy a had expected as the cockpit tub sat a bit differently than it should have because of some modifications I made in it to make the PE fit, but after some cutting and filing it worked out.

I glued on the wings and as you can see in the first 2 pictures the fit wasn't great and will need some filling.

The seam at the fuselage fin also needed some work. In this picture I have filed the joint flush but it still needs filling

I put together the intake assembly and it took quite a bit of filler and work with a needle file to smooth out the inside of the air duct

I also spent time cleaning up parts
