Looks good, and worth the effort, although I know what you mean about the tiny pieces, and fiddling around.
 
At our age you'd think that they will let up build 1:1, I can't see that stuff, hold on what am I saying I used to work 1:1, oh nooooo no that and my wife would have a fit with a B-52D in my backyard, not to mention the Home Owners Association. Even if I explained it was a bird feeder, MY STORY, I'm sticking to it.
 
Too bad you are discouraged with the PE Karl as the pit looks great.
The PE does add to the cockpit Andy, its just too much like hard work :lol:
I was going to do a few hours at the work bench but after fighting with the seatbelts, losing bits, finding them again etc, i finished then as best i could and gave up for the night !

Over with now though so should speed up a bit, i also want to finish my F-15C
