great work on the decals Vic, and I can see that the wolf's head must have been a b*gger to position and lay down.
BTW, the manual engine crank is the small hole on the starboard side, near the electrical starter socket flap. ( see pics below).
She is just about done with all the bits ready for final fitting a tweaking but I'm also at an impasse waiting on the replacement decal which hopefully will be on there way from Andy and George's neck of the woods by tomorrow. So maybe in a couple of weeks or so I'll be able to complete the build. In the meantime, this is how she stands or should I say "lays."
That's looking the biz even in "knocked down" form Vic, nice work.
Sorry to bring up another point, but whilst you're waiting, you might want to adjust the gun blast tubes. They should be staggered - longest inboard, shortest outboard, with only the muzzle of the outboard gun showing (see pics below).
Thanks Gents and not a problem Terry, as Andy suspected the barrels were only slotted in for somewhere to store them and the photo shoot, but I did wonder if it would draw a comment. Thanks for the pics as well, they'll go into my storage bank.
No problem Vic.
I have a number of other detail pics I took of the Duxford P-47 if you need them. Difficult to get more now though, as they've now hung it from the bl**dy ceiling !!
