This Spitfire with 7 confirmed victories still flies to this day and is part of the fighter collection based at Duxford where i have seen it many times

Ok had some time today between chores !

Cockpit sidewalls painted

Seat parts painted and assembled, ive since repainted the black area brown as i didnt like it.

Good work Karl. The black leather could have been made to look a little worn by dry-brushing the brown on. This would have toned down the black and given it the brown tinge as well. You did well though.

So a bit more done.

Wings clipped.

Tails fitted

Poorly fitting fuel tank cover fitted as best i could.
Also i have fitted the upper wing halves to the fuselage, first to eliminate gaps, secondly, i intend to completely build the lower wing halves include the main gear legs, before joining the wing upper and lower halves together.
