Thanks gents, much appreciated. Today I finished off the chipping, applied a semi-matte clear after a mild panel wash, then stripped the masks:

The white outlines on the ovals on the tail artwork were touched up as best I can. Not perfect but we'll get by.

Thanks for looking and for the kind kudos.

Thanks Geo. More headway today with detailing of the undercarriage, tire flattening and prop paint.

For the props I used Tamiya XF-65 Field Grey. The yellow bits were sprayed earlier with the ID marks and then masked. Arguably, the tips are a bit too wide but I'll let them go at this stage. I always spray silver on the backs of the blades now as almost every pick of any plane that's served for a decent amount of time shows this wear pattern.

I also did more chipping of the uppers and started on some underside staining but nothing worth showing yet, Thanks for looking in.

Thanks guys.

Coming out of the weekend, more chipping was done around the leading edge and elsewhere, the undercarriage and prop were installed, some fiddley bits added, and the exhaust stains were blown.

The guns are brass tube with a bit of tape added at the muzzle.

Exhaust stains:
