Many use the pre-shading technique. I am wondering if this is done with any particular finish color schemes? Or just more subtle than panel line paint? Any examples where the shading stands out?

I think it works better with light colors and can be used in conjunction with panel lineing
 
Thanks for all the kind words. I have to redo some of th scheme namely the right wing and harden up the lines.

Wing mate. I put the QB exhaust on last night. Slight miss alignment on the outside but inside was perfect. Glued the top of the wings, now off to do some Top Gun Maverick!!!!

 
It fought me up on end and down the other. I finally got the right wing on. Been trying to get it attached since Saturday but there was a lot of forces pushing and contouring. I gave into the two part epoxies. I had to push and twist and hold my tongue in that special place but it held this time!
