Curious on how the 'vintage' Eduard's plastic aged? That and the decals? Cool kit to say the least. I tend to avoid any 'older' kits (bargain shelf at local Hobby Shops) fearing the worst. My target dates are 2010 and newer with the occasional 2000, depends on mfg. Another curious question? Why a vacuum formed canopy over the as kitted one? Thinness, closer to scale?

This should be good with all those extras. The old kit is decent but lacks the detail that your aftermarket parts will bring. Very glossy plastic though! I think I wet sanded the whole thing before painting.

Hi Steph,
Tempest vintage, I will follow the building of this beautiful fighter.
More work ahead!

Hello,

Started ! First step is to paint the RAF interior grey/green... Upper cockpit in black.

There will be enough work on the fuselage and the gunsight (which is not supplied in the kit), so no wiring added in the cockpit and in the wheel wells... Once the fuselage is closed, we will not see much of the interior.
