Thank you Andy. I really wasn't sure I could pull off masking everything twice. I just went down stairs, photo-copied the stars and bars in the decal sheet. I cut one out and held it up to the invasion stripes and all lined up
Glossing up at the moment. While waiting for it to dry I painted the breaky-offy bits. If you have been following any of Brian's builds F-104nut
you'll notice he mentions using a Future wash for weathering. I thought I would try it as well but going a different route; Citadel Agrax Earthshade diluted with Future. I tried it on the lower section of the gear cover....a work in progress
That line was actually from Part 2. "I Live In A Place Where The Nuts Hunt The Squirrels". Number 3 (by Josephine the XV) is: "I'm Happy They Took You Away Ha Ha".
It's on the same album with other tunes such as "I Live in a Split Level Head" and "Dr. Psyche The Cut Rate Head Shrinker".
Thanks Jesse. Did the other gear doors using the wash. I filled a Tamiya mixing bottle about 60/40, Future/Earthshade. The bottle is the same size as the old large Tamiya paint bottles
