The truth is that I have messed up all by myself, as I could not access my colour list folder that I have on the main computer (I was compiling and the FTP was not working), I have taken the old list which is wrong, but I have also looked badly at the references of the colours that were, so I have messed up all by myself, which thank goodness I did not continue because I did not see it clearly... thanks neighbour.

Once I was able to see it, it turns out that the real colour of RAL 5008 is almost identical to the blue of the British insignia. My mistake.

Good stuff Sergio and shame about the decals. This is the risk we all have with old decals. Good thing they were British roundels which are easy to mask. For the fuselage codes, you might want to spray a clear coat onto the decal sheet before trying to use them.

thanks Andy...

Yes, I already put a decal fixative polyurethane varnish on it (since I usually make and print homemade decals, I have a fixative for them) and I also put ceramic varnish on top, but nothing happened when it touched the microsol, the edges dissolved...

The case is masked and you have to continue...

Bad decals are always such a heartbreak after all the construction and painting. Scalemates says the release date was 2006 so not that old. If I'm at all doubting a decals integrity, I'll find an alternative. Any British marking decals should be good for the majority of standard stuff.

I'm still working on the process of the "stairs" of the upper badges, I'm not quite getting the hang of the circles....

I will have to see about improving them, So I will learn to do them right once and for all.

I take it your doing the circles free hand and if so this is a good job. Maybe you can persuade the wife to get you a circle cutter sometime soon!!

Works reasonably well.

Note also the ratio of the red circle to the blue:

Just seeing this now mate sorry. I have a ton of RAF roundels in 1:72 if you need some.
(Love what you're doing so far though)

Let me explain my problem. I have two circle cutters and I use them to make the pattern, but when I put the tape on it doesn't come out well. It's a question of the tape, apparently, it's a Chinese brand and it doesn't cut very well either. I took Tamiya tape and after adjusting the circle cutter (it turns out that the blade was sticking out more than the needle), I cut, placed and painted. I touched up to balance it out with the rest as if they had touched up the paint. I then varnished it to start the general staining....
