I haven't seen the F4 #13 in splinter camouflage yet, thankfully!

The #4, is the airbase number, it's my "homebase" in town where I used to live....

Reminds me of the black & gold paint scheme on a 1977 10th anniversary Trans Am or a 1980 black Schwinn Continental. One I dreamed about having in high school and the other one was what I had. You can figure out which was which was which

Project is done and I believe this is the first time I have completed a project before the next start. Everything about this kit was simple from detail and construction to a wimp out paint scheme. This tool is a 90's Trumpeter kit and it shows. I have several kits in this scale from Dragon from the same time frame and Platz/F-Toys from 2006 that are much better. I was not able to attach the RB04 missiles because the landing gear were in the way. I can't really see if I did something wrong. Here it is superimposed over the mounting tab.

Anyway, I have something in mind for the next GB which I am currently finalizing and will have the result posted today (Friday). It's a SAAB and it looks futuristic even today.
