There are 20 pieces; how hard can this be? Not going to guarantee it will be done; but going to give it a shot. I'm already done with the cockpit and it took about an hour. Overall gray with a dab of tan for the seat cushion and a dab of black for the stick. Use that to dry brush the detail on the side consoles and finished.

This looks a lot like the Do 335 that I am also building. The phrase "not much detail will be seen" really does apply to this build. I'll paint the guns in the nose as there are two options to cover that. One is a full cover and the other has open panels like a 32 Ford.

Enjoying the lazy after Christmas glow and still working on my "tiny" 262. The mottle was a tense moment but came out close enough for me.

This will finish way past the deadline but maybe this year???

Not sure where Trumpeter got the idea that there were mottles in the bright green splinter but OK. Nice paint work though.

A fun little build; but I have to say that the paint is at the edge of my ability. I think it might be part of the reason I wasn't comfortable with the paint I would have had to do on the 190. To do something as complex on a larger scale is scary. Just need to work harder on the next one!!!
