I was planning on weapons bay being open but due to some screwy instructions I'll close them for now with pva so they can be open later.

The kit is in many ways a beautiful kit. For anyone who recalls doing the Monogram or ESCI kits, well I'd say a god send. But it does have some quirky issues! All of the kit suppled gun have, IMHO, anemic gun barrels. The tail gun setup is very confusing (I never figured it out) so I stole guns from N HK B-25, (the glazed nose kit has an extra sprue with the guns for the hard nose) and used Masters gun berlles and hobbled it together, ( sung to jingle bells, cursing all the way). I did the same for the nose gun and the top turret. I didn't do the waste guns as I planed on doing a preflight/last minute maintenance dio with it. The top cowls with the air intakes, well the just plan don't fit the plane! They are to small and in my opinion if you want to do them closed, set an aftermarket fully closed cowling. I had an issue with the main gear. Just didn't fit!!! I ended up drilling three holes and supergluing them in place. Seems to have done the trick. The bomb bay doors are a bit of convoluted and with my present eye situation I could not figure it out. There was not an exploded diagram of the actuator assembly (it would have only taken one to cover all four placements) and so I chose the closed door option. This is when I found out, the bomb rack (Center section) should have come further down. Don't know if it's something I did (pretty sure it must have been) but the bomb doors com to that center section and they don't meet together as I expected they would.

That's my observation of the kit. If you want a Marauder, here it is. While Wurger Wurger made a valid point on the color, it was done at completely the wrong time (I'd just laid the decals on) ! If I did another one I might try the od over ng color scheme.
